Viresco Sator is the pre seeded biotextile ideal for grass covering and regrassing interventions of fields, banks and escarpments. It is also perfect for the erosion control of slopes, even steep ones, when the erosion is caused by rains and run-off water.
It is a fully biodegradable erosion control blanket, made up of cellulose fibres of natural green colour, containing first quality lawn seeds that can be customized according to the context of use.
Furthermore, inside the biotextile there are granulated fertilizers intended to increase the development of the grass surface in the new settlements. It also contains soil conditioners to optimize the ground conditions.
All this is achieved without using glues, nets, fibres or additional synthetic films, to provide a natural solution for the growth of plants and the soil fertility.
Viresco Sator, thanks to its lightness, represents a practical and versatile alternative for escarpment sowing and protection, even in areas difficult to reach. A complete solution that, in just a single operational phase, provides a double effect: it stops the surface erosion and promotes the vegetation settlement.
Weighing approximately 20 kg per 100 sq m, this seed mat is easy to carry and easy to place wherever it is necessary to intervene.
Its reduced thickness and high elasticity allow the biotextile to adhere perfectly to the soil, to ensure an effective protection against erosion, wash-out, extreme rains and attacks by birds or bugs.
This pre-seeded erosion control blanket for steep slopes is a totally natural product, fully biodegradable in about 4–5 months.
Its structure consists of a cellulose fibre fabric containing lawn seeds, customizable according to the needs, and granulated fertilizers to increase the development of the grass surface.
Viresco Sator is completely free of nets, glues and synthetic elements.
