Viresco Coco is a biodegradable preseeded fiber mat designed for erosion control on inclined surfaces subject to wash-out.
The structure of this coconut erosion blanket, made up of a woven coir net and a Viresco Sator seed mat, promotes a uniform vegetative growth, as well as a safe stabilization of slopes and escarpments.
Viresco Coco, like the other Virens biomats, contains high quality seeds, homogeneously distributed in the weft, granulated fertilizers and any specific soil conditioners, customized according to the needs, the climatic conditions and the place of application.
This type of preseeded coir fiber mat is ideal for hydraulic structures and for the consolidation of escarpments that are both very steep and subject to superficial detachment events.
Viresco Coco, thanks to the combination of the biodegradable pre-seeded biomat and the preseeded erosion control net, guarantees a quick and uniform germination, promoting the development of the vegetation right from the start.
